Souls Drop Rate bug? - Writhing Wall

Is the drop rate supposed to be incredibly low for this, even knowing we have HUNDREDS of players on right now, all spamming the same locations to where the enemies don't stay up longer than 1-2 seconds at most? This seems like someone forgot to raise the drop rate or intentionally is leaving it astronomically low since they had to know a ton of us would show up for this. I refuse to spend hours farming 15 souls for one quest and 3 souls for another when I'm competing with hundreds of other people for it. I am far from being alone in this thought, respectfully. Would you please re-evaluate the drop rate and fix this? Thank you.

Go outside solstice for the souls quest. Anywhere there are daedra will work.

I got none farming for half an hour alone in coldharbour both outside and inside delves.

Sadly, they don't drop from dolmens, which is silly. The daedra there are literally FROM Coldharbor.

Ok so I found that Village of the Lost in Coldharbour has the best spawn rate, drop rate, etc for the mobs there. I group with other randoms when killing it so we share kills, then I anchor them while they go turn in and return to me, after which I go turn mine in and then return to them and we do it all over again.

It's definitely not the most well-thought-out thing when you can kill a lot of furry animals that don't drop fur.
Running in areas with 50 other players, where each NPC has to have a shot, doesn't make it any easier, and when those furry animals don't drop fur, it's totally inefficient.
Why hasn't anyone told the development department that a furry animal actually has fur?
