Stirk wayshrine

Is there really a working wayshrine on Stirk ? Does not seem to be active, if it exist. Just realized that it is a one-way shrine. You can use it to go to Stirk but you cannot use it to leave the island.

During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

    I see the known issue for PC EU, but its not working on Xbox NA either. Its there, but no interaction is available.

    It works incoming only. Plus, Stirk is not in the zone list, so you need to select Tamriel and pick it off that map.

    PS EU, the wayshrine only works when going to Stirk not when leaving it

    Will the Stirk wayshrine be repaired and become a permanent wayshrine, or will it disappear with the quest at the end of the event ?

    If it becomes permanent it will be the fourth "unzoned" with the Earth Forge, Eyevea and the Scholarium.

    I agree the wayshrine should be fixed, but in the meantime there's at least 3 free ways to get off the island:
    1) There's a boat on the north pier that will take you to Vulkhel Guard, Davon's Watch or Daggerfall.
    2) You can teleport to any house you own (ideally one near a wayshrine) - this also works with the free inn rooms.
    3) If you're in a guild you can teleport to another player's location.

    Again: I agree that the wayshrine should be fixed (and should have worked from the start). I am not defending ZOS or arguing with anyone. I am just letting players know they do not need to waste gold on paid teleports.

    This is what I do. I recommend the free inn room in Auridon, as it's right beside a wayshrine. It's still annoying to have to port to a house just to use a wayshrine when there's a wayshrine right there that they didn't bother to make fully functional, though... Anything that adds an extra loading screen for no good reason is unwelcome.

    For free transport you can also use "home tours" to visit any house in the game for free travel.

    You're 100% right but I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually say this explicitly, and I know for a fact there have been new players who don't know it, so let me clarify in case anyone doesn't know:

    When you open your guild roster, choose a name, and click "teleport to location" or whatever it says, it teleports you to the wayshrine nearest to where they are. NOT to the player themselves.

    I know, I know, everyone knows this... except they don't, somehow.

    Anyway, all these comments are right. NEVER pay gold for a wayshrine teleport unless you HAVE to get to that EXACT wayshrine RIGHT NOW. Free port to a house or a wayshrine close to a guildmate. Hell, I've guildmate ported across Tamriel to get to a random wayshrine so I can then port to another shrine on the same map I was just on, it's sometimes faster than actually traveling.

    Been stuck on stirk for days, I don't know where my next sugar skulls is coming from. Tried the boat but the dark elf captain rejected me for being a "filthy scale skin“. Guess I'll try to swim may the hist guide me safely past the slaughter fish.

    Shornhelm was the origin of the portal to Stirk at the conclusion of the prologue quest "Justice for the Fallen".
