I miss zone events

Hi, I miss the zone events that would require all the players to go to a particular zone and that zone would feel like it did when it was first released. That was a really fun vibe and I'm not sure but it seems like that isn't happening any more with Golden Pursuits. Maybe it would be cool if the golden pursuits could be centered on a zone. ☮️

It also gave an opportunity to go back for group achieves with other players trying to get the same achieves, like Bastion Nymic.

zone events do happen, there is at least 2 a year.
Pan Tamriel celebration was in January and it included every zone.
The Writhing Wall event in October is the first Solstice event.
And we are getting Daedric War celebration again in November. for Vvardenfell, Clockwork City, and Summerset.

regular small zone events without event tickets would be fun too. i saw something like that mentioned in the recent Reddit q&a and 3 zos members responded positively.

Yes, due to illness I missed some of the celebrations, meaning with the exception of 5 Cyrodiil quests I'm only missing completing 10 quests in the game - all holiday quests. Pander to my OCD damnit, ZOS!

I enjoy those events but they are usually full of players for just the first 4 days, then they get empty.

It seems to me it would be better to make them a regular occurrence on weekends, like from Friday to Monday.

They wouldn't need to be much special - just double drops/gold/XP/plans, fish&lead chance from said zone would likely be enough.

I would very much appreciate them and participate, even just for helping others.

The daedric war celebration is one of my favorite events. Probably because I love summerset so much (upon mention of summerset: obligatory request for summerset structural furnishings, as it released before the modular roof, wall and structural furnishings really became a thing).
I don't love everything being crowded all the time, but I really agree with zone events being great fun, and making one or a few zones feel really vibrant. It sort of reminds me of old-eso times where zone chat was alive with requests, and you would get 3 invites when you asked someone to share daily zone quests - now people just tell me to relog and pickup quests on another character ><

Would be nice if they brought back previous zone events as part of an annual celebration thing. Give more reason to visit older zones

Sunport style has the Alinor walls and other structural furniture, though sadly no roof. You can get them via the Solstice daily quests

Thank you for the info, I already did know though, and I was pleased those were added, but it's only a few structural pieces, it's still less than other chapters have had. I am not sure if I remember correctly - I may very well not - but it's also just a window, a door, a trapdoor, and a few pieces for indoor walls (that don't bloody fit when put together), no furnishings for roofs or outside walls to make a house in the alinor style. I really hope they'll be added with the second part of solstice

I think more mini events would be fun. I do enjoy when the dragon hunters come out in droves. Currently you're barely going to find anyone doing Harrowstorms or older events unless a guild group is roaming randomly for a guild event/get together.

As has been mentioned in the thread already a bit miffed that there will be no Telvanni Peninsula event.

I have an alt account that is newer than the others, was hoping to get the nymics done on it during the event to unlock the final reward of the chapter.

Oh well, one day I guess.

I honestly don’t know why they don’t do more zone events. I took a huge break from the game and returned in the middle of an Elswyr dragon event. That event alone was enough to get me hooked again. I’d never seen dragons before in this game and I had so much fun watching entire packs of people getting one-shot

Should get rid of those godawful battleground events nobody plays and replace them with mini weekend zone events

One of my fondest memories in this game was a Summerset event during lockdown (July 2020?). The sheer number of people, for obvious reasons, was great, but it was the, in my view, unprecedented lengths people were going to to help out other players that made the experience fantastic and, well, heartwarming.

While I wouldn't expect a future event to recapture that vibe, I still hope we get a lot more of these.

They honestly should be more frequent.

I can just run the world myself solo, but I do like knowing there's a focused activity for overland group play.

Yeah, they honestly don't even have to always be full events. A zone-themed-weekend with some extra incentives to go back to an old zone would be fun, and would be a big help for newer players who often struggle to find help with public dungeons and bosses as zones age and the population in them dwindles.
