I wanted to acknowledge how amazing you are to us here on the forums as our manager. You do a great job and I see many posts where you help with players' game issues. Pretty words and praises should always reflect how happy customers are with the service. But those same customers should also be allowed to point out what’s wrong with the service. And oh boy… all the amazing work MOD @ZoS_Kevin does with the community and communication is, by far, erased by [SNIP][SNIP].

Just want to acknowledge that the work that I do here is part of a larger team effort by the community team. Again, there is far more we want to do and are working toward that. But we'll take any wins along the way. So thanks again for the kind words!

Really appreciate this. On a personal note, I've found that in every job I have worked, this is one of the most important philosophies to keep in mind, especially inwritten text. So much nuance can be lost in written communication, so making sure the human element is still there is critical. It's important for two reasons.

Everyone who plays our game is human (excluding bots, please keep reporting them). The moment we lose sight of that, everyone loses.
Our team is human. And when anyone from the community team speaks, we are a reflection of the team. And I know that is really hard to see sometimes, especially when there are game issues. But making sure we reflect the team working on everything is very important.

So we're glad the human element does come across in our communication.

And what does that really mean? Just because he’s being paid, does it mean he has to give absolutely everything to the company? He’s being paid to support the community, give clear answers, and so on and I agree with you on that. But he’s not the only one on the moderation team; there are other forum moderators here as well. I don’t know for sure, but I want to believe they are also being paid. When we compare, though, we can clearly see that Kevin does an amazing job, while from others… well, the difference is noticeable [snip] [snip].

Kevin isn't a forum moderator. He is a Community Manager and provides a link between us and the developers, if I am understanding it correctly.

And yes, he does a great job of it.

Kevin’s just amazing! I for sure noticed a huge increase in feedback, responses, and actual communication with the forums. He’s pretty dang awesome.

Many people get paid to do their job but that doesn't mean they do a good job. I have seen a big improvement in our forums thanks to Kevin why I made this post. Communication with our forums managers is important for the well being of us the players and the longevity of eso. Just my opinion.

Thank you kindly for this info I edited my post to reflect this. I didnt realise we even had forums manager I thought the title was moderator. Forums manager is definately more befitting.

I wish other moderators (Like @ZOS_Icy ) from this forum could communicate with us in a human way rather than only coming on here to edit out our posts with the infamous "Baited" or "flame bait" messages. It's a slight relief to see you trying to bond with the community by responding to our posts. I do give thanks to everything that you've done so far.

Fully agree. He is awesome and also very helpfull.

His posts are always very nuanced and to the point.
