Just did a run of vLC and DC'd right after the final boss died, but before the knot was contained. I get back in the game and the chest is empty.
The best QOL this game could get at this stage is a more sophisticated loot check. I get it exists to prevent someone coming in and opening the chests in the cleared dungeon but if I did significant damage to that boss, taunted the boss, or healed while the boss was in combat. I should be registered as loot recipient for as long as the instance is up.
It is a pretty bad feeling to invest over an hour into a trial and get nothing for it.
