Scroll Dumping

Please stop allowing scrolls to be dumped in water or lava. If a player dumps the scroll where it cannot be taken, then the server should port the scroll immediately to the nearest keep of the faction that had control of the scroll prior to the dump.

    It’s a valid strategic play

It literally resets after 5 minutes. It doesn't need to be changed.

Scrolls should reset to the last keep or shrine they were seated in when dunked. That way there would be no strategic advantage to take then dunk a scroll.

They do, unless that keep has been taken by a different faction. Only then does it reset to a random home keep of the last owning faction.

Scroll dunking is pure cheese maneuver.

Scrolls that are dunked should automatically return to the keep or shrine from where they were taken if they get dunked is how it should work, regardless of who owned or owns the keep at the time the scroll was taken.

"strategic" dunking of scrolls is a troll move.

And that’s the problem. Say a scroll is in an AD keep, and DC assaults and takes it, while flipping the keep. The DC group fights hard to get the scroll halfway up the map, but scroll winds up back in AD hands. If the AD player dunks the scroll, it returns to an AD keep with no chance to grab it.

So that AD player can just run and feed some slaughterfish or burn in lava without needing to fight or avoid the enemy along the way or put in any effort, and they just get the scroll back easy as pie? Somebody earlier said it was a “valid, strategic play”. No, it’s a cheap cop-out to avoid a fight and still get what you want.

Dunking a scroll isn't trolling. Trolling is when AOTC takes it to AD home keeps with two other ep ball groups and run around with it there
Fighting only AD, not each other.
    That's trolling.
