Only Old Style Pages Dropping for Undaunted Event

Is there no chance of getting one of the new ones before the old ones anymore?

On PC NA I got a new style page from the golden coffer, on PC EU I got an old style page from the golden coffer. Kinda sad, because PC EU is my main server, and I want to 100% make sure I collect all the new style pages there.

Still, there are plenty of event days left to collect all the new style pages. So I'm not really worried, as I often get duplicates during events anyways.

They have totally stuffed up the way we get rewards in events now, it's much less fun and more just trying to keep us plugging away to get the stuff.

I’m not too worried about getting them, unless the drop rate is terribly low. It’s just I have all the old ones so it’s like getting nothing now. Everyone pretty much has the old ones so they won’t sell for much either.

I just got one of the new Opal Scourge Harvester pages from a purple event coffer, after having gotten an older Opal Swarm Mother pages in the golden event coffer, so you should be able to grind for the new pages by farming purple event coffers.

I did the two base game pledges yesterday. My gold box gave me an Opal Scourge Harvester staff style page, which I believe is the new one? And the purple box was meh, as expected.

I checked guild traders today but the prices are typically 100k-1M gold each. The prices will have to drop considerably before the end of the event to even consider buying them. I like to keep up with all the goodies each event but I won’t grind endlessly for these and I haven’t had any luck yet. I can probably buy a few with tickets. Way to suck the enthusiasm out of an event, ZOS.

Hopefully there will be enough players grinding for purple coffers and finding the new pages that the prices will start coming down to reasonable levels. There are other reasons to grind for the purple coffers, such as the chance to get extra dungeon gear, motif pages, etc., so there should be plenty of players who are grinding.

If that’s the goal it’s not working.

I’ve been doing 2 or 3 dungeons a day both on NA and EU, and so far I haven’t gotten a singe new style page. I’m not even going to bother anymore. I’ll just get my tickets, finish the golden pursuit and be on my way.

How many dungeons do they think I can do between coming home from work, making dinner and going to bed.
