Is this just me, or are other people experiencing this?

I've had this bug for the past 2 months ish where when I go to revive a fallen player - and it doesn't matter if it is in PVE or PVP - and my revive will be interrupted, even though nothing hit me, interrupted me, etc. Quite literally, I could even be out of combat just picking up fallen players in an uncontested field, and my revive timer will get about half-way, and then the game will treat me as if I've been bashed or it, and I'll stop the revive. Then when I go to revive the player again, it will work.

Seems to just happen randomly, and it is really annoying because I can no longer clutch revive. I've run into a couple of people in-game who have also had this issue, but I'm just curious how wide-spread this issue is.

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Yes. It's a de-sync/refresh issue.

You can see it in effect if you hold block, then cast a channel. Usually the keypress for the channel will kick even though you are holding block (you won't actually be blocking). When there is a de-sync, and the server refreshes your data the channel will suddenly stop and you'll immediately block - as you are still holding the block button and that's the first input the game receives.

What's happening with the res is basically the same thing, but because res activates a timer on the keydown when the refresh happens the res suddenly stops but there is no effective input at that point, so you have to key down again.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's reporting a possible bug.

My internet isn't the greatest, but have had the same internet for a few years now and never had issues before. This is a pretty recent phenomenom for me (the last 2 months) and I've just had them replace and upgrade all my equipment before the start of summer and my speed is testing better than it did previously, to in theory, this shouldn't be the cause. But who knows?
