[BUG] Inconsistent Master Writ Rewards Advertised and Received

Just had this happen again (XB-NA): I'll look at a master writ which advertises a certain reward - in this case 67 vouchers. But when I complete and turn in the item, I get fewer vouchers - in this case only 64. I've had this happen with less valuable master writs (7 offered, 6 given) and more valuable ones as well.

What gives?

I know the reward is in some way based on the components required to make the item; does the display of the actual writ calculate things slightly differently to the actual reward, or is there some hidden penalty system at work? In the cases I can remember, either it took quite a while to actually complete the writ once accepted (due to having to learn a trait), or I crafted the item at one of my Guild's crafting stations rather than travel to the zone - does that affect things?

I know the writs made with newer motif styles are generally more valuable than those that are older, especially base game styles. Over time as new styles are added the others are downgraded somewhat in the number of vouchers that they give. I guess it is possible that this happened if you had to wait to learn a trait and it took long enough or were just unlucky that the downgrade happened between accepting the writ and doing it. In my opinion it should still give the number indicated, though.

In the case where we had those nice high voucher purple jewelry writs before they revamped the platings, they were still worth what was shown on the writ when you turned them in after the change.

The other possibility is that the value indicated on the writ just doesn’t match the actual value for whatever reason.

It's happened often enough even on writs collected and completed within an hour that I don't think it's anything to do with patches or updates. I'm obviously going to have to start screenshotting these things before I accept them because, as soon as you do that, you can no longer see what the value is.

Oh I misunderstood then. I don’t really pay attention when I’m doing them so I can’t say if it is happening to me.
