Jewelry crafting writ has incorrect map markers

I received a jewelry writ that had me craft a Hunding's Rage piece. The map has me going north of Bangkorai Garrison even when I'm standing directly in front of the jewelry crafting station for Hunding's Rage.

Which alliance is the character with the writ aligned with?

Hunding's Rage is a base game set so it's available in three different locations. Bangkorai is Daggerfall Covenant zone. If your character is Ebonheart Pact it's likely trying to lead you to The Rift. Or Reaper's March if Aldmeri Dominion.

I am in Ebonheart Pact, so that maybe explains some of the weirdness but not all of it. I initially followed the compass, which led me to the northern side of the garrison and then had me going east and south only to then obviously run into the garrison's wall because the station it seemed to be sending me to was on the other side.
