I thought it had a column with words in red to indicate if they were out of date before. However, I noticed that many mat nodes did not have an icon above them today after the update, and if I go to that page it says that several add-ons are out of date when you highlight them. If I go to the Browse Add-on page and click R1 to get to Installed Add-ons, I can reinstall but they do not show they are out of date.
Either something is not working quite right or I need to do something different. At the very least the info presented in the two different areas does not match. Any help is appreciated.
yes this is because we just had update 47 launch so all add-ons are out of date.
we simply have to wait for the add-on authors to update them.
The "Out of Date" tag is only looking at the API Version # in the addon info. For this update, that is 101047. This is something easily changed on PC in a text editor, but I don't know how you would do that on consoles.DenverRalphy wrote: »yes this is because we just had update 47 launch so all add-ons are out of date.

Not necessarily. Addons are only considered out of date when the the addon API's are updated to a new version. I dunno that the APIs saw a version bump. I am under the impression that there are different API's for different types of tasks, so as not to instantly out of date every addon when only a few would be affected. But could be wrong.

If you're referring to the node markers from Harvestmap, they were working for me today after the update no problem.
And while I didn't have any Out of Date addons, I did see a bunch with updates available not long after the servers came back up.
[edit] Forgot to point out that I'm on PSNA server, but you already know that.

Yes, lots of addons for pc don't bother updating them if they works just fine.Out-of-date Addon doesn't mean it's not working, it only means it might not be working.

I don’t see a Harvest Map icon for some but the new distance indicator shows them on the compass and I can harvest them.
You get used to just going for the icons and they are bright and can keep you from seeing those that do not have an icon.
DenverRalphy wrote: »Any chance is the issue you're having localized to Solstice? I just didn't happen to run around in that zone yesteday. Today thoough is different.
I'm finding that Harvest Map is having issues in that Solstice. For me none of the pins show up on the Main Map. It works just fine in every other zone though.
katanagirl1 wrote: »Update: it looks like there was an update sometime after I logged out last night and before I logged in this morning. There are now new icons and the map pin is a 3D cone shape now instead of the 2D double arrow shown above.
katanagirl1 wrote: ».., but it is very hard to get them working on only one character, if that is what you want. I selected the pull-down option to only make them visible on my main character, but all of them had them enabled anyway. I had to then log into every single other character and disable them from the Options menu. I now notice that it indicates (on the character select page) that they are not enabled on my main character but if I enable them they are turned off. This is very confusing. I don’t know why this would be the case. I guess it is assumed that most players will enable addons on all characters.
katanagirl1 wrote: »It still seems like having three places to make changes to addons is superfluous. There is Manage and Browse/Installed and also under Options for each character. Couldn’t the Manage operations be moved to Installed, or just not enable them until you log onto a character?
While on Character Select screen,
1a. Options, Add-ons, Manage My Add-Ons: disable all installed add-ons across all characters,
Then after logging onto any character,
2a. Options, Add-ons, Manage My Add-Ons: enable specific installed add-ons for that character alone.
