What's up with the book series 2920: The Last Year of the First Era?

Apparently it was made into many more volumes than the original 12 volumes, but according to Eidetic Memory it seems to end on Volume 27 starting on the 2nd of Sun's Dusk. UESP.net suggests there's a volume 28, but that only adds the 6th of Sun's Dusk (part of the original Volume 11 for the 11th month). The original 11th volume goes to the 24th of Sun's Dusk.

As for the remaining (and critical parts) of the story from original Volume 12 (Evening Star), where is it in ESO? That would span a few more volumes past 28 I would think. Are there volumes of this story in ESO past volume 28 to finish out Sun's Dusk and Evening Star (and the culminating event that ended the 1st era)?

For more context the Original 12 volumes of this story (from the other Elder Scrolls games) was stretched across many more volumes for ESO, apparently because there were limits on how much text individual books could contain in ESO.

So for instance Volume 1 in the other games is Volumes 1 through 3 in ESO.

So there should be about 36 volumes (3 x 12) in ESO (more or less depending on how many each of the original 12 needed to be split up).

I never paid much attention to that series, is it actually a good read?

There's an idea for a new achievement to the endgame. Build a Library of Lorebooks in your house.

I'd say it's one of the better reads in the series. It's a fully coherent short story, rather than a snippet or blurb of a story, or as often the case in Elder Scrolls something cryptic and hard to decipher without more context.
