Solstice coral crabs not dropping mudcrab chitin?

I'm hunting the Hand-Polished Shell lead on Solstice, so killing coral crabs. None have dropped mudcrab chitin. I've killed hundreds. Can someone check?
I'm getting tons of decorative wax, clean pelts, and carapaces.

Mudcrab Chitin comes from Mudcrabs. Coral Crabs are not Mudcrabs.

I've farmed coral crabs for chitin before, on summerset.

I've never ever seen coral crabs drop mudcrab chitin. Even in summerset.

I'm in Summerset now, and it's not dropping. So either it's changed, or more likely I'm mistaken and the wiki is incorrect.

Coral crabs have never dropped chitin, but I think they should. Just having coral on their shells doesn't change the fact that chitin is part of their basic structure.

I remember when first playing through Summerset being very surprised by the lack of chitin from coral crabs. I also just went back to confirm for myself, killing enough of the critters for >60 rubedo hide scraps and a pile of decorative wax but not chitin. They really should drop it.

Do they at least count as chitinous foes for daily endeavours?
