Is group finder for trials broken?

Hello,
I tried to join 2 different groups for Lucent citadel and it says desisted but when I refresh group it stays in group finder. Those 2 trials groups have been on group finder >trials for days with exactly the same number of people so i know it's the same 2 groups.
Yesterday I couldn't even join group cos it said you do not meet the requirements but I did meet them and other people in zone chat had the same issue.
My game lag has been awful since solstice patch...it's almost unplayable for me.
