K so me, and trusty steed, in the deeper water.. Shock follows... my horse isn't swimming, it is walking - inside water. Hmm... checks the god of references.. .John Wayne in Red River... yup, now that IS a horseman, mounted, on a swimming horse... later years... The Undefeated, yup, John's on a diff horse, diff river but that horse too, is swimming, and he's right there riding. I suppose I should be grateful for the change, and I am... but having ridden a swimming horse, what I see isn't the same. No worries, it will do!
