What does everyone think about getting a soul with your blastbones for Sul-Xan`s? I like the set but there are times your suffering from no souls to get your buffs.

Sul-Xan is generally a set used in only trash to prebuff for the boss fight and of course be buffed for killing trash. I would agree with you pre-subclassing as a way to potentially give cro some identity but blastbones is in the line that dps are taking from cro already. So, if this lets sul-xan be competitive, then it would reduce build complexity in a bad way (encouraging less use of sets).

I don't doubt what you say but that level of sweat in PvE just seems so absurdly extra.

Could never catch me out there switching sets every pull to clear a boss one second faster.

There’s a lot of DPS who are competitive people and want to top parse. I don’t swap as DPS but as tank I have a trash and a boss build due to some sets/skills only being good in trash or boss, not both.

I haven`t seen or aware of a way to parse to get a number from Sul-Xan`s. This would be a way to get it, then we can be able to know what we are dealing with. I have been working on a build but I have to use Sul-Xan`s crit chance to get past the 47% threshold to make my light attacks hit the crit damage every other use. If I go without Sul-Xan`s then I would have to use potions to make the crit chance go past the 47%. Putting a soul on the blastbones would be nice but I doubt it will happen.
