Will there be a discount on the 2025 Content Pass?

I know there was a small discount recently, but I didn't have time to take advantage of it T_____T

Will there be another discount?

I would be shocked if there is not a discount during Writhing Wall event. They always have a discount on latest content in the fall during the related community event (kill dragons for Elsweyr, dig up antiquities for Western Skyrim, etc.)

There are some sites offering heavy discounts with some copies remaining depending on the pass type / platform. (32% off on one that I tend to use).

Yup, Fanatical had a pretty big summer sale, not sure if it is still on.

Unless you suspect they're selling stolen/cloned keys you can name and even link to the site in question. This isn't one of those forums that expects us to pretend we don't know the rest of the internet exists.

Sooo, is Solstice not available for purchase? This confused me. Why would I buy a “content pass” when I have ESO+?

more than likely they will have it for 50-60% off during the in game event. or at least that is how they have always done it in the past. they wait til about halfway through the day to turn it on though, so don't panic the morning of the event and buy it full price. i almost did that one year thinking what if i miss a day of tickets???? lol luckily they turned on the sale before i bought it

because eso+ won't include solstice until the next thing comes out. right now, you only get up to gold road with eso+

Content pass is Solstice, it's a permanent unlock just like chapters were. It also costs a bit more than chapters used to and includes both sets of dungeons. It's a "this year's content" bundle.

If you always/usually have ESO+ there's no real difference between a chapter and a "content pass".

If you don't always/usually have ESO+ then the difference is it also includes the dungeon DLC (and no, there's no option to just buy the chapter).

My guess is not enough people were choosing to buy the dungeon DLCs so ZOS decided to take away the choice.

I prefer a carrot to a stick approach! I bought the Apocrypha year dungeons because they came with an awesome guar mount and I liked the themes and design from what I’d seen. Last year, they weren’t really Mirrormoor related beyond the enemies in one and didn’t feel new…

Anyway, I’m interested in Solstice and enjoy dungeons so that I consider buying them in addition to ESO+, but I’m not digging the “content pass” approach.

Do you have a source for this? I thought it would be treated exactly the same as the chapters it replaced.

That would be consistent because chapters became part of ESO+ as soon as a new chapter came out.

So, Solstice itself will behave just like the previous chapters in regard to ESO+.
