Can sb explain how houses in the recommended section of the house show are selected?

I don't understand how the houses are selected to be shown within the recommended section. I have yet to see one of my two entries there but I have seen some homes appearing there twice or more often...

Someone has to manually visit your house and add it to their recommended list, then it will most likely appear in the Recommended section for other people as well. The more people visit and add to their recommended list, the longer you stay in the section.

It undoubtably helps if you are in a housing guild and can persuade guildmates to visit and recommend your houses. I am not, for reasons of my own. There are just so many houses that get listed there is no way for a number of players to randomly visit your house in the very short time it is listed in Home Tours.

Yes, the more popular the house, the higher on the recommended list it will be.

I see. One has to say that this leads to a situation where recommended houses will get even more recommendations while others for various reasons will stay low profile because they did not get that tad bit of attention in the first place.

I think it is counterproductive.

I’ve had one of mine show up there 2 or 3 times without being in a housing guild, though I’m not sure for how long. Personally, I look through the recommended a bit and then go through random. People who go through home tours a lot probably have looked at the recommended ones already and are looking through random.
