So, in playing how they want, you mean by exploiting knowledge of exploits found in beta (which are now apparently game mechanics) to gain a strong advantage over others, then i cant really agree on your perspective.
Sure i agree with "grind if you want" "Pve if you want" "pvp if you want"
But to actually go and bypass everyone elses progress by doing what the current lvl 50's did?

If they were exploits they will be banned and rolled back. But if theyve been in since beta is it an exploit?
I hit 50 in less than 50 hours /played solely by running around in circles killing mobs in the open world (solo)Bradleyastab14_ESO wrote: »

What did I exploit?

No, it does impact my gameplay.
Its become a subtle requirement to be 50 in pvp already to be taken seriously, people at level 50 now will be able to clear advanced content before me and therfore deflate the heck outa the rarity of anything there.
Yes, it would have still effected me, but not the way it does now, had there been, say, a level cap per day.
One can only learn so much within a day right? Not like its lorebreaking or anything, no hero in Elder Scroll became a legend, full fledged god overnight.

As someone who is still level 16 and in no hurry... I don't see the problem. Some people are power gamers, putting artificial limits on their ability to play hurts no one but the players who have more free time.
I just don't follow the logic of restricting someone from the game because they are quicker at leveling.
Let it go, people on a pts server for a year before a game goes live will always have an advantage when it comes to leveling and game knowledge, hell I did this in Secret World and was max level before early access ended.
They've already killed dungeon and pvp xp since people were complaining others with more time to play used these avenues to get to max level quick which in turn = no one want to run dungeons atm. These xp issues need to be fixed, I should not be forced to just quest to get xp, tired of the WOW quest train, other avenues of xp need to be viable when you need a break from questing.
Bradleyastab14_ESO wrote: »After level 10, should there have been a cap on how many times you could level up per day? Sure, six days later we would have a bunch of 50's still, but its kinda nuts atm, you have people that have every class at 50, and the game only just officially launched....
Lets be real here, even the most vigorous of quest racers are still only around level 30 atm, which is about right when you think about it...
It really is a slap in the face to people who wanted a fighting chance without having participated in the PTS. Oh well, let bygons be bygons.

As far as limiting people's play times, what, you want to make ESO into China? Silliest idea I have seen in awhile and I have seen many.
And I wasn't even pushing the speed, it's doable in 20 to 25 hrs if you do. I took my sweet time...

Oh great another tedium professor bragging about his ability to be a professional consumer.
Try to add something to the discussion instead of stretching your e-peen, kthx

Indeed.
Should we start complaining that people are leveling too slowly and there aren't enough high lvl 's in Cyrodiil? Just as silly as the op suggestion . Joking of course on the idea.
Joking? Lol, im laughing at my own expirement
What you fail to see, is i actually made a thread not to long ago where i posed as a person trying to reach level 50 on day 2, and the entire forum came down on me, disagreeing as much as they could in every fasion.
Now im here on the other side of the cloth and being disagreed with again.
Jokes on you lol
