Yes. And on top of that, I think everything that requires a group must have a solo option (looking at you, Craglorn. I hate you, Craglorn).
or.
find a guild or group of like minded players and play the way you want.

Craglorn doesn't require a group. I think they should just remove the "entering group area" pop-up. It's never stopped me. I think its leftover from when it used to be the endgame zone.

I literally have a group quest that's collecting dust in my quest log because I can't finish it solo. I don't want to abandon it because I've done a big chunk of it with the help from one of my guilds, but I'm too anxious to ask for help again to finally beat the quest. I want to explore the locations and listen to dialogues, but other people from the the group just want to speedrun it even when I told about my intentions beforehand. It's a stress.
On top of that, there are a bunch of group delves, repeatable quests and other places that I tried to do solo but got overwhelmed.

Dying? Again, again, and again? But I'm on a base game, so maybe if you use something like Arcanist with that beam, then maybe you could manage it solo.ESO_player123 wrote: »
How long ago have you tried doing it? I completed all the quests in Craglorn and have never used any help there. Which mechanic was preventing you from doing it by yourself?

And what is sub 1000 CP exactly? I'm a bit over 400 CP, which technically makes me "sub 1000 CP", but there's a big difference between 400 and let's say 800-900.

Ah okay. I'm guessing you're at the part where you have to fight the mage? Do you have any companions? If so, I recommend putting your companion in tank gear and having it hold the mage. She summons atronachs. Kill those yourself and then return to damaging her.
I'm on PSNA or I'd have helped you but maybe someone in zone chat can help you with it. The Lost One is actually a lot for a newer player and is designed for a group at that level.

Aren't companions only available with DLCs? As I said, I'm on a base game, unfortunately.
I complete all quests on my main which is a Magsorc. I have to admit though that I've never had any experience with playing only with the base game. So, I have no advice here.Dying?
