I was thinking of how ZOS had added a new technology into the game with stackable containers for writs and surveys (treasure maps be next, methinks), and that got me thinking.
I personally love events that drop boxes with a variety of rewards, and I find joy in opening the presents never knowing what's going to drop from them.
I know some people are not always fans of that randomness, but I think it would be really cool if just by adventuring, you could randomly drop a box of potential loot (or satchel, crate, sack, etc.), that might contain something in the game with less restrictions on the loot pool than event boxes (or maybe an event box), so what could be inside could vary from a vendor drop like dardra husk or ash, to things like crafting mats, recipes and plans, motifs, or even set items, or whatever goodies ZoS wanted to stuff in there as a suprise.
It could drop from certain things, like small enemies, bosses, containers, or just from anything at random, so you'd never expect it. (Would be a funny companion buff honestly, and that companion could be something of a jester or master wordsmith regarding humor {my whole MO for anyone who has met me in game honestly}. ).
Anyway, this idea went through my mind and I was curious what you guys thought of something like this.
Please also feel free to share your thoughts as well!
