Queue for Cyrodiil stops working

I queue for my home campaign and am assigned a position in the queue.
After a while my position gets updated as expected.
After a much longer while my position gets stuck and will not change, even after waiting half an hour or longer at the same position.
If I try to leave the queue to requeue all over again, it says I am not queued for that campaign but says "leaving queue" and gets stuck there-- no matter how long I wait or how many times I reload the UI, it says "leaving queue" but won't let me queue again and apparently won't actually let me out of the queue.
The only way to actually leave the queue and try again is to log out and log back in, but queuing again just repeats the entire process.
