Disappointed in the Scribing Alter, Interactable green boxes are too large!

Finished my Golden Pursuit today and tried to place the Scribing Alter in my crafting room in my Sweetwater Cascades house, which is where all my main crafting and utility station setup is, and it's too tall to work in the basement room.
This is an ongoing problem with interactable stations, where the "green" zone is so huge it is a royal pain to place them in what visually should be adequate spaces. I barely got the transmute station to work in there when I firs set the space up, and I had issues with the basic woodwordking station since that arm that sticks up has a massive area around it it won't work if anything is even remotely near it even though its not colliding with the actual model.
Iwas excited that maybe ZOS was doing better as the Furniture Vault let me stick it almost half way into a wall before it went yellow.
@ZOS_Kevin Can the devs please reduce the obscenely huge green zones on crating stations and the like?
