so why do restoration skill line spells

not affect the caster? i mean i pretty much makes the skill line 100% useless if you wanna play alone. or did i maybe miss something important somewhere? it just seems silly to me that the caster cant heal themselves.

Grand Healing heals everyone in the area, Regeneration can apply to yourself, Blessing of Protection always applies to yourself, Steadfast Ward applies to yourself if you're the most valid target (or it always applies to yourself if you take Ward Ally).1 -

Grand Healing, Blessing of Protection, Steadfast Ward are all AoE. The former two affects everyone and the last will affect you if you have the lowest health. Regeneration is smart-cast so it will target players with the lowest health first, prioritising group members over other players over NPCs.
If you want to force a skill to be cast on yourself, you can bind self-casting in your keybinds. But really you shouldn't have a reason to use this except in zerg PvP.Edited by ThatHappyCat on April 10, 2014 6:59PM1 -

Grand Healing is an AoE spell. You place it on the ground and everyone inside the area is affected. So... to cast it on yourself, just cover yourself with the AoE.1 -
