So based on the new Update 47 are Heroism Pots Dead?

If almost every Ultimate Regen outlet is being replaced with Minor Heroism it looks like for the most part Heroism Pots will be dead in the water... Not sure i like how every update seems to be killing off Unique bonuses and funneling everyone into the basic generic non unique Major/Minor buffs/debuffs. I am all for Subclassing and change but not at the expense of killing off other Unique features and builds. The rob Peter to pay Paul way of doing things is not in my opinion the best way of going about things.

Just my 2 Cents.

It will be the other way around. Passive skills with Heroism are not worth investing points as you can just use potions.

Yeah I think the overall issue is these passives have become fairly useless, as one can't maintain 100% uptime on minor heroism with them anyway, so one would still be better off using potions or some other source of minor heroism. Idk that it will hurt the use of those pots much more than scribing already did, but I suppose we'll have to see.

I'd sooner let passives do the work. Why waste pots when skillpoints are at a surplus?

Thank You that is an interesting way to look it. I appreciate the feedback!

Because the passives won't have 100% uptime.

Because you can use those skill points on a more useful passive that lasts longer or has better synergies with your build. Heroism pots are easier and faster to obtain than skill points, and will be even more so after the next update.

Yeah, Hyperioxes considers them dead passives from his pov because the heroism uptime with them will be so low that they don't replace heroism potions.

The passives are more or less fine for more casual players who don't use heroism potions, especially those who weren't using those passives on cd anyway -- which is almost everyone. By more casual, I don't mean absolutely casual. I don't like to burn gold, so I only use heroism potions during tri runs.

This is how it should be for most players. It's important to understand that score pushers and elite solo players see and play the game completely different than almost everyone else. That's why we saw such strong reactions from content creators. These changes will not be nearly as impactful for the majority of players. Seriously, most won't even notice.

In terms of group content, it's really only during trifectas when the need for heroism potions emerges. Though, of course, some competitive individuals who like to top parse everything use them everywhere!

Why on earth would I put skill points into one passive in favor of another? Just grab both. They're not mutually exclusive. And as I said, skill points are at a surplus.
