Since the Writhing Wall Event is Happening in Q4 2025, Will We Miss Out On A Necrom Celebration?

ZOS has followed a pattern of bringing back chapter celebrations of years past usually 2 years after their initial release. As someone who loves Necrom, I was really looking forward to the potential for a Necrom celebration this year since I missed out on the first one. Will the Writhing Wall event kick the Necrom event off the books or will we still get a Necrom celebration?

PTS isn’t testing all events yet, but just looking at the collectables offered, it looks like the Q3 events will be an Undaunted celebration, the Wall, and Witches Fest.

This does still leave a November event open, but that wouldn’t be tested until U48 so we can’t say yet.

Good to know, I thought the Writhing Wall was going to be drawn out into several phases or something.

Q3 ticket-granting events should be Whitestrake's later this month (PTS had two fragments of the Q3 morph while it was running there) and Undaunted, which would put Witches in Q4 where it normally is. Not sure how the Wall event is going to actually work, but I haven't been on PTS to check it.

It is. We don’t have much info about the length of each phase, but some details are:
- Phase 1: new camps exist and you start getting daily quests. I think the world events are also starting here?
- Phase 2: a new WB pops up near the wall and more wall events
- Phase 3: (not on PTS) the wall comes down

We’ll get more on Wall phase 3 with U48

As an aside, I hope they bring back the music box that was offered during the first Undaunted celebration. It’s the only one I don’t have. 🗃️

It is. We don’t have much info about the length of each phase, but some details are:
- Phase 1: new camps exist and you start getting daily quests. I think the world events are also starting here?

Okay cool, thanks for the info. Maybe someone from ZOS could chime in and let us know officially what to expect.

Writhing Wall event is said to be in October.
i suspect it'll be the first two weeks of October, much like past chapter events. Most chapter events started on the last thursday of September which was then only a day or three in September.

the Writhing Wall event is the first of its kind and doesn't have event tickets, patch notes don't mention them nor the Julianos Dwemer Spider mount.
If it were a q4 event it would mention the Chapel house which isn't linked to the event either.

q3 will likely be
- Mayhem, we already know that starts this july. and this is the usual.
- Undaunted, like always.
- Writhing Wall, which as far as i know is not an event ticket event.
the u47 pts notes do not mention the Dwemer Spider morphs nor event tickets.
And normally the last q3 event would be a new zone event which is technically still happening but it doesn't have tickets.

q4
- Witches Festival, as always.
- returning Necrom celebration as it's been two years.
- New Life fest, as always.

maybe because the Wall event doesn't have Event Tickets linked to it, it doesn't matter which quarter it is in.

It officially starts in quarter 4 according to zos, but most chapter first events were only really part of q3 because their first few days were in September.
