Honest Toil bugged for "trading with guild trader"

I've bought several items from different guild traders, but this is not completing the quest.
This bug is know from 2022, because I've found a similar thread here

You need to spend at least 10K with guild traders. I've done this several times and no issues.

I've done this with 3 accounts everyday of event, at guild traders, it has never bugged for me

The old thread even said what the reason was/is, although the amount you need to spend is different now (as stated in the quest tracker) than it was then.
