I'm sorry, I can make my Camera go up and down after all?

As the Horizontal Position slider goes from left to right making the Camera pan left to right, it climbs vertically as the player character passes thru the center of the screen before falling back down to a set plane. If you set the Position slider to a point on either left or right of your character that makes it as low as it goes, you can then use the Offset slider to bring the Camera back, centering your character WITHOUT moving the Camera back up vertically.

THIS. IS. GAME. CHANGING. FOR. ME.

I have been BEGGING. FOR YEARS, for a Vertical Position and Offset slider to be added to the Console U.I. because of how in order to zoom in close to your character, you end up having to cut their legs off the screen. Even if this little trick that honestly took me WAY too long to discover only does a fraction of what I want, it still helps tremendously! After I reset the camera using this trick and my perspective sat a little lower, it was like the entire World changed. Everything had become eye level for me, I felt like I was IN the world for once.

Personally, for a cinematic view, I set "Third person FOV" under the "n"; "Horizontal position" all the way to the right; "Horizontal offset" under the "a"; then zoom-in the camera with the down arrow + right stick until I can't see the back of the knees while I look straight ahead.
It's not perfect but good enough until we get the Vertical Camera sliders.
Aside from hyper difficult fights I stick with this settings. If needed, from this I just zoom all the way out during fight, like in Infinite Archive higher arcs.

I still can't believe i never played with the sliders a bit more before to have realized this. Its literally opened up a whole 'nother world for me lol. I'll have to see what your settings look like since I've always had my FOV set at a specific place for years.
