Level class skills fast without CP enlightenment?

Past level 50, I used all my accumulated enlightenment and now a master writ only give me 17k xp - it was over 100k just a few minutes ago, then 60+k, and now it's not worth to spend writs anymore.

What should I do? Must I wait 24hr before leveling again? The usual 150% scroll and training sets etc are just too slow without enlightenment. Any option other than spending 4 times more effort grinding, questing or using writs?

Do you mean "class skills" like Jabs and Fatecarver and Blast Bones and stuff? I don't think Enlightenment makes them level faster. I believe Enlightenment only counts toward gaining Champion Points faster. Your skills will progress at the same pace regardless of Enlightenment. Training trait will make skills level faster but only from XP gained from kills, not quest XP like doing writs. Scrolls will make skills level faster regardless of source of XP.

The 100k XP toward CP you saw was with full enlightenment. The 60K XP was likely where you were getting near end of Enlightenment and it only partially applied to writ turn-in XP before you exhausted Enlightenment. The 17k XP is probably normal XP for a writ turn-in. But assuming no XP scrolls active, you earned 17k toward skill progression for all of those turn-ins. That was only your CP progression being boosted.

You can also put all the skills you want to level on bar and queue into the Vengeance PVP test campaign. Vengeance has it's own PVP-only skills that replace your normal skills. But you do gain double XP while in Vengeance and the double XP will be applied to whatever was on bar upon return to PVE-land. So that is kind of an indirect way to get double XP for the next week or so.

Also, doing a random normal dungeon gives a lot of XP. Make sure you have skills you want to level on your active bar when final boss dies and you will get all that random normal XP applied to skills.

Finally, there is a CP in lower right corner of green tree that specifically boosts skill line progression.
