Crafting no longer defaults to our chosen settings, have ingredients, known and quests

Anyone else notice this? PS4/5 after the last update when crafting all the settings reset to blank choices? Prior to the last update it defaulted to what we set it as. It's a little annoying as half the time I go to do a daily crafting writ and create an item I do not need.

Also the Crafting Forum here does not have an option to add a new post, just a Follow Option. Just a heads up mods....

The Crafting Forum has no new post option because new posts on crafting are meant to be put in Systems as part of last year’s forum reorganization:

Yeah, for some reason they preferred to call it merely “Systems” there. Definitely not the first time they’ve used different terminology for the same thing. (They even do it in game too: Advancing Yokeda/Berserking Warrior and Twice-/Two-Fanged Snake come to mind.) Honestly, and unfortunately, the ambiguity with platforms is there either way to my mind.

I do wish they’d have a sticky thread in the relevant categories noting they’re effectively archived. Crafting has only one sticky, and that’s from 2014 introducing the category. It doesn’t surprise me people wonder at the inability to create a new thread in an old category when nothing there redirects to the new one. Unless I’m missing something, which is always possible.
