Ehrm, and what exactly is your issue please? You say you need a fix but you do not say what the problem is, maybe start the other way around?

Everytime I start the game this pops up, I went to ESOUI and the author is trying to help but it`s very confusing.

You have another addon that registers a variable that LibGroupBroadcast registers by itself.
Look for what LibGroupResources is actually needed and disable it otherwise.

I suspect it‘s part of the old LibShareData or LibGroup(anything) infrastructure that now must be moved over to LibGroupBroadcast since Update 46.

This was an issue due to how minion handled deleting files while updating the addon - The easiest way to fix this permanently (while still keeping the libraries LibGroupResources and LibGroupReload active) is just to uninstall and reinstall "LibGroupBroadcast" via minion (not right click -> reinstall, but right click -> uninstall, then find tab -> install).

Basically, minion had issues deleting the old LibGroupResource folder, so there were multiple copies of LibGroupResource present when you updated (the developer moved LibGroupResources to a different location)

Hello,

I am having issues accessing Elm's Markers. I like to download thru Minion. When in game, and i hit ESC, i look at Add-Ons, Elm's Markers, LibDataShare is missing. LibDataShare was removed and migrated to LibGroupBroadcast. A few months ago, i uninstalled LDS and installed LGB. Reading the words above, Today, I uninstalled all of the LibGroup addons and reinstalled them. It was odd to see that LGB would Not stay installed. It would show as installed initially, then show the button to install again. So, i uninstalled LibDataEncode. Then i was able to install LGB. None of that fixed my Elm's Markers. So i installed LibDataEncode again.

I would like to stick with the latest addon's, should i just go to the website and download LibDataShare even though it is outdated?

Can anyone assist with helping to resolve this issue plz?

Afaik the addon needs to update and switch to LibGroupBroadcast, as LibDataShare isn't used anymore and might get you into trouble as it uses old API which got deprecated by ZOs, and thus is not not/or not fast enough working anymore.

Means: The original addon dev or anyone else needs to take over and update the addon.At best request that at the addon comments and send a private message to the addon developer:

btw. Please do not highjack/necro post any old thread about addon A to ask for a fix for addon B. Elm's markers is not related to LibGroupdBroadcast in general. Better start a new thread asking directly at the www.esoui.com addon comments.

Well, it will not work anymore? So no need to download and try to use it!
LibDataShare is non-working and LibGroupBroadcast did abandon it's support too -> So basically ElmsMarkers is currently dead as neither LibDataShare not LibGroupBroadcast support the position sharing of the markers in the group. You might still be able to see it, if you do not get error messages (or chat output telling you LibDataShare was abandaoned), but no one else using this addon and being in your group would see them!

As far as I found out someone needs to create a new library like LibGroupMapPositions and implement a protocoll, which will use LibGroupBroadcast then to share it with the group.
Means: Some dev needs to take over this old addon and create some new data sharing methods via LGB first.

@Roach_00 I just heard there is another addon which should do the same as ElmMarkers, and it should be maintained:
