I think that every Thieve's Guild should have tiny housing available, but it should be kept separate from the other houses, in that you can't port there from the regular wayshrines or normal portal methods. Instead each guild hall should have a special Thieve's Transit system where you can portal directly into any hall where you have purchased a hovel.

The Crown Store house in The Reach has 2 entrances, 1 being to the Outlaw Refuge, but the aethestic is all wrong for a thief.

Dark Brotherhood have their own house, thieves are obviously too poor to get one.

Yeah, a dwemer lift into the Refuge?? Definitely not for a thief. More a black market researcher/profiteer lol.I think that every Thieve's Guild should have tiny housing available, but it should be kept separate from the other houses, in that you can't port there from the regular wayshrines or normal portal methods. Thieves actually do have their own house, except its not a "house" but several buildings, a pond, and desert ruins surrounding it. Not of course what is being asked, but there technically is something for Thieves...just several of them and not for one or two people. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Thieves'_Oasis

There is such a house in the city of Necrom.

Interesting. I didn't know that. However it is not to my tastes/not what I had in mind, so I would like something different. Something more underground, perhaps in or near a cistern with access to water. Maybe the entrance is a sewer grate lol Moving the goalposts as its known.

What is the aesthetic for a Thief exactly? a smart thief would make their home look the same as any other home less the guards come knocking.
