Character, Weapon Animation and Positioning Ideas

Hello everyone,

As a left-handed player, I had this idea that I think could really improve immersion and personalization: it would be great to have the option to mirror the weapon animations and placements, so the primary weapon hand is on the left instead of the right.

Here’s the concept:

Swap the primary weapon hand from right to left – simply mirror the animations and weapon positions in-game to reflect a left-handed stance.

Change the position of where weapons are stored on the character's body, so they reflect this mirrored setup.

Always show the weapons equipped in the main and secondary hands, both in and out of combat, so it's visually consistent and immersive.

I believe this feature would be a great addition for left-handed players and anyone who wants more control over their character’s appearance and style in combat.

1 – Swap the Primary Weapon Hand from Right to Left
Simply mirror all weapon animations and character hand positioning in the game.

2 – Display Primary and Secondary Weapons on the Character
Adjust weapon placement on the body (left or right side) to reflect whether they are equipped in the main or off-hand.

Weapon Positioning on Character:
1 – Dual Wield
In combat: Daggers or swords could be held tip-up or tip-down depending on player preference, with one in each hand.

Out of combat: Weapons could be worn on the waist (current style) or on the back (handle up or down).

2 – Two-Handed Weapons
In combat or walking: Option to drag the weapon on the ground or carry it over the shoulder.

3 – Staff
Carry on the shoulder during combat or hold in the left hand.

4 – Bow
Out of combat: Option to place the quiver on the waist or on the back at waist level.

Additional Suggestions to Improve the Subclass System Immersion:
1 – Companion and Pet Skins
Introduce skins for companions and pets, each with unique visual effects.
Example: Choose a Flame Atronach instead of Bastian, summon a Lich instead of the standard pet, or swap the Sorcerer's Clannfear for a Lamia. Even the Warden’s Bear could be replaced with a Wolf or a Senche Tiger.

2 – Unique Colors for Each Skill Line
Allow color customization for skill lines across all classes for better visual identity.

Note:
All of these customization options could be offered through the Crown Store.

Thanks for considering!
