I wasn’t the biggest fan of the BG changes from 3 teams to 2. Whatever, I don’t need to like every facet of the game. I went from doing BG several times a week to only doing them for an Endeavor or Pursuit.
Last night I decided to do some for the first time since subclassing. I did two 4x4 and two 8x8. All 4 matches were the worst pvp experience I’ve ever had, in any game, in my 30 years of pc gaming. It didn’t matter if I was on the winning or losing side, the experience was terrible.

I love when I see someone else say this because that's exactly how I feel about the current BGs. It's just not a good time, and it's crazy since I used to have so much fun even when losing in the old BGs. Now though? I just want out the whole time and am just waiting for it to end so I can do literally anything else with my time. All 4 matches were the worst pvp experience I’ve ever had, in any game, in my 30 years of pc gaming. Else the sweaty players had to wait 3 hours, till 15 other sweaty players appeared.

It would be nice if we could, at the very very least, get some three team weekends like they said we would instead of throwing out the same two team weekends over and over.
They don't need to care about 3-sided BGs any more than they need to care about PvP Justice System or any other unpopular idea that got scrapped. Switching to 2s made the mode more successful bringing in new and returning players, myself included. The 8v8 solo is pretty good but the 4v4 competitive depicted by OP does have serious problems. It's fair to ask for improvements to 2s but no, they aren't going back to a format their data showed to be unsuccessful. They don't care.

Yeah variety is good. I enjoyed the old format and it would be good to experience it again (I miss the old maps as well). Not sure if they could add a 3 team option along with the current 2 team option so people have choices.
I select all BG options anyway when I sign up and just play what pops (except CTR, I just leave that mode); I would select the 3 team option as well if it was available.
It's fake competitive, and this can't be healthy for his mental health. And I don't blame them for leaving the match.
edit: yes, this can affect mental health, no one can have fun like this, and those who say it don't are denying it. lag exploit seems to still be there either that or the server is bad lol

They don't care. They don't care what we want, they don't care what we say, they dont care how we feel. They dont care about our suggestions, they dont care about our observations and they dont care about our experience.
They dont care that the people who care the most, those of us taking the time to post in this forum, are unhappy with the ways things are in battlegrounds and have ideas on how to make it better. They dont want to hear it, they are actively ignoring us and will continue to actively ignore us.
Read somewhere one of the devs said in a interview that two team bg's resulted in increased participation in bg's and that more people were playing as a result of the change (cant remember where, looked for it, couldnt find it). So there you have it. They got what they wanted and we got screwed out of the format we enjoyed in the process. If the two team format continues to be more successful than three team its staying. period. And if people are playing in spite of the issues why fix them. People will play anyway.
