Inventory Question: Green marker in front of some Jewelry Crafting location maps

What does this green marker exactly mean and why it's not in front of every Jewelry Crafting location maps.
(Couldn't find any explanation in the release notes - but maybe I missed something.)

I assume it's because the old Surveys are like Eidetic Memory books (back when Summerset launched), the game thinks that you need to interact with it to unlock it (just like the Companion letter furnishings have that same icon if you haven't read them). Jewelry Crafting Surveys from Elsweyr to present are like maps and don't have this problem.

Ahhhh ok, that explains it.
