When I saw the "You Belong Here' promo, all I could think of was how perfectly Pat Benatar's lyrics worked for my fic's Vestige, devastated by losing Darien not only in Coldharbour (which is when Angelique realises he might mean something to her) but again in Summerset, far too soon after finally finding him again.
The idea lived rent-free in my head for months, until I gave in and began recording his scenes, then rerunning them because I didn't like the angle, or wanted to switch from 1pp to 3pp or vice versa, and through trial and error teaching myself how to put it all together.
Hopefully, now that I've completed this and it's out of my system, I can get back to writing Ange's story. I've got some catching up to do.
