I missed the chance to get the Mages Guild recall due to being in hospital, is it ever coming back?

I have been in the hospital since the announcement of the content pass because of a brain injury and I ended up missing the post about how to get it. I finally got out of the hospital a few days ago, and I saw the announcement and the stream but even though I purchased the 2025 content pass I missed it

This is the first time I miss a pre-order bonus ever, especially for a pretty cool one like this and I’m bummed out

Is it gone forever??

That's a heck of a reason to miss something: (
I imagine it will eventually end up in the crown store like most stuff does. Hopefully able to be bought with endeavors as well.

I’m not sure if this would help, but it might be worth the effort to try and contact customer service and explain the situation and see if there’s any possible way you could get it.

Unfortunately, it won't. Preorder stuff never gets put back in the crown store. Usually, however, it's a non-combat pet and a matching mount. I guess ZOS wanted to spice things up but ended up leaving people behind who deserve to get a unique reward. I hope customer service is able to help you, elven.were_wolf.

if you pre-order via external sites they might still have the code. It was a separate code so maybe someone who hasn't used it would sell it to you otherwise perhaps contact ZOS support and explain the situation and I'm sure they will make an exception.

I also wasn't able to get it due to simply just not having enough money and being on the verge of homelessness before a new job came in. But now I almost don't even want the dang portal since they were lame enough to take it away. Since they took it away, I see that as meaning they don't want us to prepurchase the content. So I'm just gonna wait until I decide if/when I'd like to actually get the new dlc.

I was 2 days late coming back to ESO from my hiatus to get it. Didn’t even know new content was coming out in June when I decided to come back. Was really bummed about the early order bonuses I missed out on.

I'm glad that you got the job on time. You made a financially responsible decision putting rent first over limited edition cosmetics that are mostly driven by FOMO. I had a tough decision to make as well. I chose not to get into debt over virtual items. Besides, when you play ESO long enough, you earn your fair share of cool cosmetics over time. I did end up pre-ordering the pass later when my financial situation recovered but I don't mind that I won't have a recall. ZoS are bound to release other recalls in the future that can be earned in-game. If they put everything fancy into the cash shop it would rub too many customers the wrong way. Equilibrium is important.

I have to apologize on the forum dev’s behalf. A dev member reached out on the 27th to my forum DMs. They’re the first person to ever dm me and I’ve been in and out of the hospital doing check ups so I only payed attention and saw it today. I wasn’t expecting any further or different answers after my support ticket and my mental abilities have been really a mess lately, including my vision and focusing abilities due to the injury, so I didn’t see the tiny red number on my inbox screen.

I assume it’s too late now. But honestly the fact that someone reached out just really means alot to me. @ZOS_Kevin I want apologize and to clear this up because I love ESO and the team behind it and I really care what the devs think of me as a player of their game, a fan AND as a person and I’m worried I created a false nerrative on the forums me without even realizing and it’s keeping me awake at night.

So please allow me to explain:
So I made this post, sent a ticket from your suggestions on the 25th and then was mainly checking my email for the ticket response. I got a response a few days later from customer support, saying they cannot assist me and I immediately sent a new post on here because I was sad about it and wanted to update you guys on this page, BUT I FORGOT TO PRESS THE REFRESH BUTTON!! I was checking this page through my phone’s browser in the meantime BUT what I hadn’t realized all these weeks as I am trying to recover from mental impairment by resting at home and frequent revisits to the hospital for follow ups that I hadn’t pressed the refresh button!!!!
So I missed that my forum inbox has a red dot until just yesterday when I manually signed in on a different tab only to see Kevin’s message.😭 I then posted the message yesterday again on the tab that I had STILL forgot to press refresh!! And now today I revisited this page finally only to see that Kevin wrote here too back on the 27th!!!

Now I just feel really stupid for not knowing how to use a website at my age and posting without thinking. I really hope this is clear enough to understand with my impaired mental abilities and I really hope Kevin or any forum devs that saw this page know that I didn’t do this on purpose and that I really love the dev team as a fan and Inreally appreciate Kevin reaching out. I am still recovering and I still can’t do things that seem normal to others. Despite this I log into ESO almost daily now that I’m no longer under hospital supervision and I’d be really devastated if the dev team of the game I basically grew up with and love. to think ill of me </3 Especially the fact that they’d reached out to me on the 27th!!!

P.S. It’s too late for the item now at this point but I just really care what the dev team thinks now more and hope they don’t think ill of me

At the very least, all exclusive items should be available in the crown store.
Seen so many new players quit ESO in despair because they can't get the Dragon's event furniture.

None of the pre-order bonuses for Chapters have returned to the Crown Store.

Update: I tried my luck at reaching out to support again and they granted me the item!! 🥹❤️
Honestly, I am at a loss for words and super lucky and grateful. ESO and its community has always been a space I can go to feel safe when I was at a bad place or if the world felt like it was coming down in flames.

People may always complain (maybe sure because they care about it), but I hope people focus more on the positive sides ESO and its dev team have.
