Advanced UI interfering with battleground scoreboard, and timers not being visible

Hey Guys. This has been an issue for me for about a year now. It occured with a patch update and just assumed an update would remedy but it's been the same ever since.
I do like the addon, but if I go into a battleground the scoreboard is completely non-existent. If I'm doing a heist, the timer never displays, same with any other timer eg sacraments for dark brotherhood. Hoping I'm just missing something simple here. My only solution is to disable the addon and reloadui. Of course you can't do that in battlegrounds without getting kicked....
