Glittering ore rocks to indicate a better chance of finding a trait gem? Or something similar?

Currently there seems to be no way to search for the trait gems directly. It would be very helpful to have an indicator for the gems like the ore rocks for the ore itself.
The glittering ore rocks could indicate a higher chance of getting a gem out of an ore rock.
