Adding value to ESO+ with unused dyes

So, since ESO+ has lost a bit of its value over the years, with the yearly smaller zone being gone and dungeons now being included in the content pass, I had an idea to add a bit of value to the subscription. (I know we’re getting the furniture vault, which is great, and an amazing feature for the housing community, which I consider myself part of.)

The exclusive ability to dye costumes is a great feature, but what if we gave subscribers a selection of basic dyes that can’t otherwise be unlocked through normal gameplay to use with that system? Say, all the exclusive dye stamp dyes?

That’s 33 dyes in various useful colours that currently can’t be used for anything but costumes. And let’s be real, barely anyone buys dye stamps, especially not people with ESO+, since most of us already have a lot of dyes we can use.

Adding these 33 dyes to an ESO+ Dye category would give new players who subscribe a nice selection of dyes to use with the costume dye system, improving yet another feature of ESO+.
To be clear, there are still tons of dyes that non-subscribers can unlock through achievements, so this wouldn’t take anything away from free players, it would just be a nice extra perk.

Just an idea though, what do you guys think?

Yeah sure, why not. The dye stamps are a waste of money and it’s not giving eso+ members an advantage unless someone’s dying their armor and wants one of those colors. (P.S. please let us dye weapons… we can dye everything BUT weapons!)

Yeah.. don't think I have ever used a dye stamp, they just end up in my bank when I get them from level-ups etc.
Never bought any. Not sure I know anyone who has bought one on purpose. Maybe if they unlocked the dyes in them to be used I would have. But probably mostly out of fomo.

I agree. What's the sense adventuring if you can't look good doing it? ;)

I consider the costume dying perk of ESO+ to be a very close second to the craftibag as far as importance so I'd be happy to see more dyes with ESO+.

This would be an alternative but less beneficial for eso+ members and more just give us another thing to spend money on. Still better than the current version though.

Let ESO+ members collect them for Costumes AND Outfits, yup.

Outfits are the real endgame, after all.

This is a great idea. They could be used on outfits too, just make the dyes themselves eso+. Add them to another category in the dye menu that gets greyed out when not subbed. Easy.
