Fungal grotto 2 and Precognition skill

I recently wanted to do this dungeon alone again but I found out with the surprise that on the second boss the Precognition ability no longer worked. Does anyone know why and since when they made this change?

I am playing since April 2021 and since that time precognition does not work on the second boss.

But I also soloed that recently on veteran with a Sorc. Her Execute-Attack is on rotation, and with pets and/or a companion and especially with many long lasting ground dots activated at the right time you can always kill at least one of the four shadows and you are free.

Seriously, it's been that long? I've tried using this skill in other dungeons, and it works fine. I find it strange that they only changed it here.

I think they're saying that, for as long as they've been playing, it's never worked that way. It isn't something that used to work a certain way but then was changed to work differently.

As long as you're actually using precog instead of the other morph I guess. I don't know, I've seen it work for quite a few things. It's hard for me to know, I've always just beat that mechanic by having so much damage the clones don't get to survive, even on a tank you just need some decent ground-dots in place (maelstrom staff back-bar can go pretty hard haha).

I'd be interested to know if it still works for things like Zaan's beam. Honestly damage has been so high these days though, it's just never been an issue regardless, and I don't really solo dungeons anymore, hell I don't even do them with other players anymore.

You're right, it's not a difficult mechanic. I just find it odd that they "fixed" that particular dungeon, but left other dungeons with more serious issues untouched.
