Can we use potions in combat please?

Potions have a significant delay when trying to use them in combat. The sound effect plays, but no potion is comsumed. It usually happens after a roll dodge. I have to stand there doing nothing for a brief period and then after the 7th time trying to comsume the potion, it will actually work.
