Please, please, PLEASE fix the dungeon quests!

So if you complete the dungeon, the quest completes as well.
The levers in Volunfell. If you miss a speaking stone in Direfrost Keep, even if you go back to get it, you can't interact with it. Having to speak to the quest giver in Selene, and being unable to do so if someone engages in combat.*

And put the quest giver back at the start of the dungeon if you can't talk to the quest giver in time at the end, so you don't have to redo the dungeon if you forget to turn in the quest, or if someone disbands the group too fast.

How often is this asked for? This, honestly, would be one of the biggest QoL things for many, many players.

* And please don't tell me to pick up the quest first. The dungeon is in the far south of Reaper's march, and most toons who need the quest won't have gotten that far south yet to be able to fast travel it it.

Of the 3 dailies I did today, I couldn't complete the quest on 2 of them.

Agreed. Daily Dungeon quests should be for the final boss only. You shouldn't be penalized for being loaded into an in-progress dungeon or if someone in your group runs ahead and nuked a boss before you can catch up.

The story mode quests in the dungeons also need changed. The levers in Volenfell have been bugged for a long time. If someone else in your group hits one of the levers instead of you it can bug the quest and it won't progress.

Oh, ugh. I haven't had that happen in a while, and I'd forgotten. Thanks for the addition!

This wasn't a "speed runners are bad" or anything like that post. It was just a plea to ZoS to fix the quests so we can complete them even if there are speed runners, bugs, or forgetfulness. That's all. Nothing here to prevent you from reading the books or hearing the story.

I heard that this will be an ESO Plus feature soon. You must understand, it will cost them millions to implement this.

Might as well tag on the request to have the turn in time be LESS then the Remove from instance timeout. How many times has everyone left and you're waiting for the turn in NPC to interact with and you timeout beforehand...

Not all dungeons are soloable because of hardwired mechs. Fg2 and several dlc side bosses for example. I wish they were

Maybe if i post it enough times it will come true:

Move quest skill point to dungeon completion like the public dungeon skill points are , instead of quest completion, and then we can all level in peace. And come back for the story with like minded people at our leisure.

In case someone doesn't know, you get a whole skill point from a specific boss in each pub dungeon, not just a skyshard. And you do not have to do the quest to get it.

True...but Rich has said a couple times that a Storymode for Dungeons is something they want to pursue...I think this is something we are going to see sooner rather than later.

I'd love it if we got a pop-up asking if we want to start the dungeon quest as we enter the dungeon. Then absolutely have them complete as we progress through the dungeon so we can't get bugged by missing a box or the levers in Volenfell. Also, for those of us who sometimes quit a dungeon without remembering to turn in the quest, maybe a reminder to turn in the quest. Again, that should be possible without having to wait for a long monologue to complete as some groups disband so quickly I've nearly been kicked from the dungeon before I finished the quest ;)

I say all of the above as someone who would love to be able to take the time to really enjoy the quests and immerse in the stories, but usually skips dialogue to keep up with the rest of the group. Having a story mode would be nice. Not an easy mode, just one where it's possible to do the quest properly and not get dragged into boss fights. It'd be just as handy for getting the chance to loot chests that might have mythic leads and goodies too.
