Castle Skingrad is Disappointing

Let me start by saying that it was a bit of an odd choice to lock out the place in order to monetize it later.

Anyway, I really want to like the house, but this has to be one of the most disappointing houses ever. If only it had a better layout, more exterior areas, and maybe guards patrolling instead of just standing in that inaccessible room. A couple more entrances would also be nice—the well could lead to an Outlaws Refuge, and something else could connect to another locale in Skingrad, etc.

If you guys want to keep these ridiculous prices, then please get more creative. The barrel is nice, but if it had more to it, the place wouldn't feel so bland. I know you can't/won't change something drastically after its release, but an outlaws refuge entrance could be added, at least.

But yea. I bought it because Oblivion was my first TES.
I own it. So I enjoy it.
    I only buy good stuff.

Does my negative feedback somehow diminish your enjoyment? It shouldn’t. So your need to jump in and defend it almost like a personal attack is… a bit strange.

If you’re happy with your purchase, great. But that doesn’t mean others can’t point out flaws or suggest improvements.

And "I only buy good stuff."? Lmao

The layout has to be what it is because it's from Oblivion. IDK how they'd add more guards but it would be cool. I don't think the main castle should have an outlaws refuge connection. Besides, there's already the wine barrel for secret entrance that's more relevant for that particular house.

They kept it similar to Oblivion Skingrad and released it when they did to coincide with the Oblivion release. Kinda obvious.

I think it's amazing, it's just a shame it came right before my yearly subscription renewal so I didn't have cash at the time for it or it would be an instant buy. I like the layout, but then some people weren't keen on the High Isle Manor house for the same reason but I think it adds character and provides more ways to customise a home by using areas in ways they couldn't normally be or blocking parts off. I think both of hose houses are fantastic.

I want the structural pieces from Castle Skingrad so I can build my own castle.

    1) The enormous high castle exterior walls

    2) Towers (with interiors that are blank so we can add individual circular or square floors depending on the tower circumference). Also, circular staircases inside as an option.

    3) All walls with open-air windows so we can look at the outside

    4) Roof pieces

Just cut up Castle Skingrad into pieces. If a testing team can rebuild Castle Skingrad entirely using the modular building pieces, then we have enough structural pieces.
