Argonian Hair Options

I would like to see Argonians hair/headdress options get a bit more love, especially with the "Carnaval Side Part" that was released with the latest boxes. It's EXTREMELY disappointing to see the front look decent and then the back is just completely bald, and this happens with several of the hair styles that would interest me. In general, Argonian hairstyles tend to be disappointing, and I would love to see them have a bit more attention and detail put into them!

This is very common across argonian hairstyles and has been a common complaint said by me.

Their version of hairstyles are often very lacking in quality and design compared to the man/mer/khajiit version, and doesn't fit the name or description at all. Draping Locks? What draping locks? It's three tuffs of feathers and a massive bald spot. So many are just big bald spots on the back of the head.

I noticed the Carnaval Side Part also have an issue if you use a skin marking that changes the colours from the default quite a bit, which many of them do. Like for example, you use the blue skin colour and use one of the snakescales markings that has a lot of red on it. Well, the "roots" of the horns on the hairstyle will now be blue and not match your skin.

The feathers themselves look so good in post-base game hairstyles yet the placement of the feathers/horns tend to be so bad. Argonians shouldn’t be a joke.
I think the only one I really use is the twin braids one.

This makes it even worse to me. Seeing those nicely textured feathers, that also actually show colour, and then they are used in such disappointing ways.
Like at first glance I was excited for Braided Tresses on argonians, because from the front it looked good at first. Nicer feathers, jewelry, some mixed in horns that sat on the side (something different) and also feathers going down on the jaw. But woah woah, lo and behold there was the usual bald back of the head.

Like there's a single new/newer hairstyle for argonians that doesn't have the bald back, and that is the Topknot Cascade. It has a weird horn choice at the back of the head, but there's also feathers and no bald spot.

Yeah, I feel like they ran out of ideas very early on for the Argonians, and especially with the new feather textures, it makes the older ones look a bit out of place now. I'm hoping for a texture refresh, or maybe the option to change hair color without going through a race change token, but I highly doubt that last option will ever happen.

Which I can't understand. I can think of so many ideas for argonian hairstyles. Mods for TES IV and V are full of interesting ones too.
