What good is the Internet if I'm not allowed to complain 🙃
My post is specifically that the main summer "chapter" release is the size of the q4 dlc with regards to content (minus the trial of course) which there aren't "dozens of posts" on.
So has anyone checked the size of the map on pts yet? Is it comparable to High Isle or even less?
I assume the new zone will not be available all at once. After this wall event we propably will have access to the other half of it later this year. The overall size of new zone is suppose to be similar to chapter zones.

Complain all you want, I'm all for it. Many others have offered this same specific complaint in other threads.

And while no explicit new class a la Arcanist, Subclassing will feel like new classes added. Which sounds similar to 2023/2024 content.
I am guessing they saw players do Chapter in 2023/2024 and then leave for rest of year. So they are de facto splitting the Chapter in half in 2025 and slow rolling it in an effort to maintain engagement year round.
Basically, I think it is a marketing gimmick, not a reduction in content. Though I do wish they would confirm that Eastern Solstice in Q4 is same size as Western Solstice on PTS.

Maybe, but since we don't get a 4th quarter zone any more it is less content in my opinion.
Stay safe

These are my feelings about it and I also wrote this (with some other feedback) also on the PTR forums (no spoilers)
I hate the new delivery model now that I see this in practice. The main quest is very very short. I listened to all the conversations and I clocked in around 2 hours for the whole story. The zone is so small and has many shrines so there is also no travel time or sightseeing involved either. Waiting 6+ months for the next small bit really puts a damper on things and it is making me think about just waiting to buy the pass until the second part comes out and binge all the content then. Then there will probably be sales and there will be a decent amount of content because this is not it and really doesn't feel worth the hefty price tag yet. I was hoping there would be more content with the new formula and increased price, but so far it feels really like something like 'Galen', which was given away for free back in the day.
I guess the whole package is about the same size as a chapter from the previous years. But what you get now is a tiny appetizer slice and really doesn't justify the money. If feels more like a 1500 crown zone. I feel glad I waited to purchase because I wanted to check the PTS first to see if there was enough value. Not convinced at all, so I will probably wait for a sale in Q4. Both parts and the dungeons will be out by then. As for the wall event, this can be done in old zones as well and probably just consists of filling progress bars with the community until they disable the wall server side.

Thanks for your review. I suspected as much.
All those people in the zos cafeteria during the direct reveal? We all know how its done. That was everyone in the company, most of them working on the new mmo. Just trying to present as if its thriving.

Yep, wayshrines are too close. I would remove the two in the center of the map and rearrange the southern ones like this:
- The east one to be at the center of the triangle area made by both northen skill shards and the temple POI.
- The west one could be moved to the inverted Y crossroad that leads to the trial and delve dungeons.
Aditionally, the north west wayshrine could be moved a bit to the south east nearly the middle of the small land where it is located.
Also, the map is too small and do not justify the huge price increase. Even if I mirrored the map it will be still much smaller than any other chapter and/or half size of any vanilla zones.

isn't that just the first half of the island?
Probably not the right place for this, but, what happens when you miss a year and didn't get the Content Pass, I hope you can buy the last years content separately at any time then (at a discount hopefully)? I wish Zenimax would clarify this as I haven't seen any answer to that yet.
