So in a lot of the footage and screenshots about the new season pass.. it shows the old animation of templar's jabs. Are you finally listening to all those voices that cried out to revert the change and make a proper animation similar to the old one.. but just.. faster or more intune with its new cast time?
I don't know but it would be very disappointing and confusing if this led to nowhere. I honestly hope the revert / update is coming to this once iconic ability / animation.

There has to be some reason why their demos for a new feature include years old animations. I really do hope they are bringing it back.
I agree old flurry was better too. Specifically with daggers the new one looks so silly

A lot of the skills have a variation of skill styles these days... Why can't ZOS just make a variation of the old flurry and jabs and put them as a skill style?

IMHO, jabs (and other Templar skills) could resemble Kazuma Kuwabara's powers from the YuYu Hakusho anime. Jabs would be his signature attack, a spirit sword that looks something like a lightning bolt. Other skills like Crescent Sweep *could* look like the Jigen Tou, a perfectly shaped light sword.
This thread could be such an easy win for ZOS if someone would just answer it! We'll find out on Monday, and whatever the result, it'll just leave irritation in our thoughts that no one answered a simple question that could have brought fun to many!
The old Templar spear reminded me of a Roman Pillum spear which fit thematically with the Imperial religious cult in ESO IMO.magnusthorek wrote: »Templar jabs shouldn't even have a shape.
