Love the new log in screen! As soon as I saw it, I heard Sallah from Indiana Jones say, "Yes, but where are we going!" Very excited about what comes next! Been playing for nine years now, and it is still the only game I play every single day!

    Not the Character Selection Screen, the Log In screen ... the one you first see when opening the game. I suppose I'm one of the few that likes the Character Selection screen too lol. I find Coldharbour to be soothing ... and yes, I talked to my therapist about this! Thanks for your comment though!

    They changed only splash screen (with login). Not backgroud of the character selection screen.

    I see what you mean now. I usually click start and go get my coffee while it logs in automatically so I don't see it.

    I love the new screen too. Great stuff. I hope they upload a 4K wallpaper version of this without logo after their stream event.

    I thought perhaps this line was my monitor, but I noticed I was able to capture it in software and it doesn't appear on other scenes/windows, just the splash screen.

    On my PS there is a lot more to that screen. Not sure why yours is so zoomed in.

    I look at that screen and wonder if it was autogenerated by AI. It looks like Coldharbour with the floating rocks, but the rocks have chains hanging on them and there are no dolmens with chains instead.

    Sort of creepy.

    It's obviously the top of a giant jubilee cake absorbing the soul of random_humanoid1 which is most probably the player placeholder character.

    The most reasonable prognosis we can make about the upcoming story is that it will be about the player character falling into a jubilee-cake-induced coma and being saved by the Altmer mage Melisandrinde (who lived in the sewers of Shimmerene as a hulkynd because of her ugly mutated eyes), and her wife, the bearded Nord lady Björna (plus that random tiny guy in the back - he must be really tiny; I'm very certain that the thing he's carrying is not a sword but an average-sized dagger).

    That's not the whole screen. He's there - just very small, and in the mid-center of the whole screen. Took me a while to find him....

    If someone really wants to know, the location name is hardly concealed this time. It was already in the prologue quest on PTS, and on the live server it's in the description of this year's jubilee cake as well as in the achievements for the upcoming prologue - yes, the achievements are already listed.
