Missing Crowns, Steam Link Issues

I already know the forums can't restore my missing crowns, but man am I peeved. I spent close to $500 yesterday buying the game, 3 months of Plus, 21000 Crowns, Halicinder Bundle, and Housing Starting Bundle. I received absolutely 0 crowns from any of the packs.... My ESO+ is active and I get the perks of it. I have all the Halicinder mount etc. Just not the crowns.
I think this is an issue with Steam linking as I didn't know at the time this needed to be done, so I made all my purchases at once BEFORE the game was installed, meaning all my crowns seemingly went to nowhere... nearly 30,000 crowns. I don't understand how everything else was able to apply... just not my Crowns....
I waited literal months to save up the money and transition from console to PC since cross save will never happen. Tried to give myself a good start where I could buy the banker etc. and now I can't even do that.
I made an additional purchase of 750 after linking to test, and indeed I got the crowns. So now I have 1250 total... when I should have like 31k total.
So now I have to wait 3 days minimum for support to answer me on a delivery of ~30k Crowns that I can already be garaunteed won't go through. Nearly 30k crowns out of my hands and into theirs until whenever support can be bothered. From what I understand they'll completely ignore it the first 3 days so ain't that swell....
Looking it up I can see other people have had this issue before. Why does ZOS allow Steam to sell people Crown containing packs before installing if this is the exact thing that can happen.
Seriously if you can't manage the back and forth with Steam properly, why do it at all? This really isn't fair to me or any customer to experience and I've never gone through this with any of the other dozens of online games I play with currency. The weekend is my gaming time, so I can cut this weekend as a loss basically because I don't want to start making changes to my account before this is fixed.
This has been an issue since 2015 from posts... why is this still happening ZOS? Terrible first impression for a returning player from years ago. Just feels like I've been screwed out of $400 of my $500 purchase. Having to wait 3 days when all my transactions are instant is just an insult on top.
I already sent all relevant info to support, it just sucks knowing I have to wait x amount of time for ZOS to fix my account. And that this issue still exists after almost 10 years now is the supreme cherry on top. Why make something critical like your digital currency actually work?
