If I had to guess I would say that it will have a similar effect to last year, mainly because this is afaik the 2nd year in a row that you can get the boxes from non-daily quests. Sure, spamming fast quests like crafting writs on multiple characters is a quick way to earn boxes, but there is still a limit to it, unlike something like spamming dolmens or celestial rifts(you also don't need to have alts for these).

I will say that this event has been held for years and the economy used to recover from it after some time, so there were most certainly various other factors at play in terms of prices collapsing across the board last year and failing to significantly recover.
